Reincarnation

So you think the blog is dead, huh? Let's just see about that. I am going to resurrect the "push technology" aspect with a mailing list. The blog will email the list, and all of us will know about it, read it, and be inclined to wite in. Some of us might even get an ACCOUNT, then ASK to be an official CONTRIBUTOR to the blog. Let's try the list thing first....

Smashed bananas & random digressions

My attempt to play off of Dave's post. I can think of at least one person in my life who is not allergic to bananas. This lovely lady eats them daily, out of a jar, and with a spoon. None other than our six month old daughter. She reminds me of 61 Broadway and poker night because I feel like the day after poker every day. Coffee used to be an occasional morning thing, but now I am an addict, and I go straight to it before turning on my computer at work. Yes, I know, its hard to imagine anything coming before computers, but there is plenty. I often think about how we grew up with telephones, then pagers, then crappy computers, and now media centers. I wonder if today's babies will ever be out of touch with people. I remember recently when people close to me didn't even have mobile phones. The time I came over to 61 completely unannounced on a Saturday morning was probably the only time I have "just stopped by" anyone's house in a long time. Speaking of 61 and thinking of poker, I'm looking forward to the next time I can play. Back to work for now....
